
Sofía Briones Ramírez
Sofia Briones Ramírez graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Psychology and a certificate in Latin American Studies. They most recently worked as the lab manager for Ryan Lei’s Intersectionality in the Social Mind Lab (Haverford College), previously working with April Bailey (University of Edinburgh) in the BIAS Lab and Kristina Olson (Princeton) in the Human Diversity Lab where they completed a thesis on face perception along race and gender/sex lines (published in JEP:Gen). They are broadly interested in how children think and reason about racial and gender diversity, social cognition, and how children’s social experiences shape their social preferences. Outside of research Sof enjoys rugby, baking, weaving and visiting friends and family!
